MEN AND WOMEN ARE NOT THE SAME
By George Card
I am about to enrage the feminists, but they can console themselves by burning me in effigy. But I stand firm by my following statement. "Men and women are not the same" yes I said it and you can quote me.
Today to suggest or imply that men and women are not the same is totally political incorrect. It has become tantamount with being an uncouth savage. But the Bible clearly teaches us that men and women are different, and no amount of PC is going to change that fact. The Bible clearly tells us that although both man and woman are made in the image of God, they are not the same.
First I will start with the obvious which is the body. Men and woman have a similar structure one body, two hands, two feet and a head; also their biological systems are pretty much the same. But the similarities end there. The women are shaped differently than the men, their bodies are more round and they have breasts. They are also smaller and with other physical differences.
Nothing the feminazis can say or do, can change the reality of biology. Of course they can mask or blur some of the differences. Women do not grow beards or moustaches; which are distinguishing characteristic of men. Women can wear high heels to make themselves look taller, but the ruler still says they are usually shorter than men. They can take bodybuilding and bulge up the muscles but their muscles can not compete with male bodybuilders. In short women are stuck with the body they are born with, which is smaller and weaker than that of a man.
Now we shall go to the brain. Sandra Witelson, is a professor of psychiatry and neuroscience and a brain research expert. (She has the largest collection of normal brains in the world) She has researched the brain for 30 years and she states.
Gender shapes the anatomy of male and female brains in separate but equal ways beginning at birth. The brains of women and men are neither better nor worse, but they are measurably different. It is so obvious that there are sex differences in the brain, yet there is a large segment of the population that wants to pretend this is not true. The mental divide between the sexes is more complex and more rooted in the fundamental biology of the brain than many scientists once suspected. The relationships in neural structures that we were finding were always — and I do mean always — different for men and women.
You find that men and women have fundamentally different brain architectures while still accomplishing the same things. This challenges the assumption that all human brains are fundamentally the same. Men and women appear to use different parts of the brain to encode memories, sense emotions, recognize faces, solve certain problems and make decisions. Indeed, when men and women of similar intelligence and aptitude perform equally well, their brains appear to go about it differently, as if nature had separate blueprints
There you have it; biology does not lie or accommodates political agendas. The physical differences between man and women are not only in the body but also in the brain. This explains why women think differently than men.
Having stated the obvious physical differences, of body and brain, now I shall go on to the social differences. Men and women behave and act differently; they talk about different things among themselves than men. In dangerous situations the women instinct is geared more toward surviving by fleeing, while the men are more geared to surviving by fighting. Women have a more nurturing attitude toward children; men have a more disciplinary attitude toward children.
Statistics do not lie. They clearly show that men and woman perform different tasks differently and like to do different things. The video game industry has tried hard to get women into playing video games, but with little success. Colleges have sent their recruiters to get women into engineering and architecture, yet the classes remain full of men. Much to the chagrin of the feminists, men and women are clearly interested in different things.
When the government in its infinite idiocy demanded that schools provide the same sports for girls that it did for boys, some schools had to close some sports due to the fact that girls would not join and play those sports. So in effect all that the government ruling accomplished was to stop the boys from playing some sports because girls did not want to play them. This ruling hurt the boys while it provided zero benefit to the girls.
This division goes on in the professional level too. Women have to meet a different standard in sports. Women usually are held to a lower standard and they have to compete with women. Women do not play in professional sports; there are no women in major league baseball, football, or basketball. Yes there are professional women teams, but their revenue is much smaller than that of men. The public speaks loud and clear with their money and their presence, they want to see men playing and fighting, not women.
Yes there are woman who have broken the barrier and have actually participated and done well in male dominated areas, but he few exceptions to the rule only prove the rule. A woman wrestler or car racer stands out from other women precisely because she can beat men, she is an anomaly; and the same for other women who managed to be in or engage in other similar men dominated sports.
In business and other areas the same holds true. Women and men usually go into different sectors of the industry. In medicine most of the nurses are women. In teaching most of the teachers are women. In the hospitality industry most of the maids and cooks are women. In engineering most of the engineers are men, in computers most of the programmers are men. In mechanics, plumbing and carpentry the worker almost always is a man.
This discrepancy in the work world can not be blamed in male chauvinism, for woman in western societies are now free to choose any career they want, but they consistently choose certain professions, where woman are a majority.
Feminists have tried for years to reverse the sex balance in the professional world but the unbalance still exists no matter how many incentives are given to women, to enter male dominated fields. The feminists demand laws and rules to reverse these trends but those have but little effect upon the actual workforce.
The government itself for all of its progressive attitude toward women does not allow woman as combat soldiers. There are no women in the Special Forces. There are no woman navy seals, rangers, or green berets. When the marines finally relented and opened their combat training to women, all the women in the first group dropped out in less than one week, not a single one of those women volunteers could last a week.
The differences between men and woman are real. The Bible clearly gives different instructions to men and women, the women are commanded to be chaste, keepers of home, rearers of children, and obedient to their husbands. Yes this sounds anachronistic, and rubs the feminazis the wrong way, but it is the word of God. (Titus 2:3)
The Feminists have tried really hard to destroy these instructions from God. For years they have protested, shouted, cursed and legislated, and the situation has changed somewhat, but their desired equality has evaded them. In the majority of homes the men continue to be the head of the household. Women themselves have freely chosen to leave their careers and become homemakers.
The feminists spent countless millions in propaganda, designed to make men more like their wives, yet men remain stubbornly men and refuse to do the dishes or change diapers. Most men just refuse to take on women’s roles, it seems that only a few ‘enlighten’ males have chosen to trade roles with their wives.
There has been a long war against men by feminists through TV, the movies, cartoons, and other media. They have portrayed men as imbeciles, chauvinists, rapists, abusers and serial adulterers, with IQs of minus 80. The political correct groups using all kinds of propaganda have tried to destroy the power of men, ye this world is still being run mostly by men. There is also a subtle message that men should be more like women, and not be afraid to show their feelings. Yet despite all the Hollywood propaganda men surprisingly resist being emotional, nurturing and sentimental. Sorry Alan Alda, but most men simply refuse to follow your weeping example.
The other message that the media loudly shouts is that women can do anything a man can do much better than men. In the comedy sitcoms whenever there is a competition between men and women, the women always win. The men are fumbling fools that hardly know how to tie their shoes. Never mind the real world where men consistently outperform women in any sports, any job, and just about any other manual task.
Despite all the rage and propaganda of the feminazis, showing that a woman can be just as strong as a man, most men can easily defeat a woman in hand to hand combat. The men are to be the protector of the home and the women. Their superior size and strength clearly prevail. The police blotters are full of reports of men beating up their wives, only a few women beat their husbands. Of course it is wrong and evil for a man or woman to physically abuse their spouse, no one is condoning that, but that is the reality.
The feminists have tried many ideas and tricks to create an artificial equality. The unisex look was created, to erase the distinctions between a man and a woman, and that is why the unisex look is wrong. It attempts to create an artificial equality. Men and women need to look differently. That is why a man should have a beard or at least a mustache and dress differently than the woman.
The women clearly are different, but not inferior to men, they are complementary to men. It means that men fulfill one role while the women fulfill another role. Much like the pieces of a puzzle. A man needs a woman, and a woman needs a man. They need each other. The man is incomplete without a woman in his life, and a woman is incomplete without a man in her life. This is the normal or common state of human affairs, and of course there are exceptions to this rule.
Is being different bad? Not really, the Bible clearly teaches that there is a difference between a man and a woman, but being different does not mean being inferior. God created men and women differently because they were to fulfill different roles. The man was created to be the head of the household and the protector of it. The woman was created to be the keeper of the house and the raiser of children. 1 Timothy 5:14
The army has great analogies of complementary roles. There are soldiers who fight from far away, the archers, and soldiers who fight at close range, the swordsmen. The soldier who remains to defend the fort is just as important as the soldier who goes out into battle.
The commercial world has thousands of examples of complimentary roles. The architect is just as important as the mason is. One creates the building with his mind; the other builds it with his hands. The seller sells a product and the buyer buys it. Without buyers the seller's position is worthless.
They are different roles but each one is important. The man is to be the leader and the woman the follower. A person can not be a leader without having a follower. They are complementary roles. Of course some exceptional woman can become great leaders, but they are not the rule. In some places women are put artificially in leadership roles on purpose because they want to be political correct. However in an open environment where leadership is open to the best leaders, it is usually the men who rise mostly to the top with only a few women getting leadership roles.
The women are in submission to their husbands because their husbands are to be their protectors. Being in submission to a man really gets the goat of the feminists; they are rebels trying to usurp the authority of the men. In reality they are not trying to be equal to men; that is just a pretense, in reality they actually want to turn the tables and rule over men.
The feminists want to turn the mandate of God that women are in subjection to their husbands on its head and they want to dominate and be the head of the household. They are rebels who do not want their husbands to rule over them, but instead want to rule over their husbands.
There are many countries where women indeed are an oppressed people. In Muslim and countries with other religions countries woman are treated like a second class citizen. They are abused and trampled, and have basically zero rights. Not only are the woman oppressed but it is a pervasive and official oppression. There are actual government rules that impose those rules on the woman.
Women in Muslim countries have no freedom, in some places they are not allowed to drive; they must wear heavy sweaty burkas, and must always be accompanied by a male person. They have to marry whomever their family chooses, and the professions open to them are few and prescribed by law. That is definitely oppression.
Yet where is the outrage of the feminists? That is where the feminists should focus on, but somehow they conveniently ignore those really suppressed women. Where are the hordes of feminists demanding the end of female mutilation in Africa, or the degradation of women under Hinduism or other such cruelty to their sisters in Iran or Saudi Arabia? Where are the crowds of feminists protesting the oppression of women in Muslim countries or in India?
In Christian countries you never see the oppression and subjugation of women that you see in Muslim, Hindu or primitive countries. In Western countries not only are woman allowed to choose any profession they desire, but they can marry whoever they want, they can go anywhere they want. Women in Christian countries have rights and freedoms only dreamed of by the Muslim women.
How come feminism is so strong in Christian countries, while in the Muslim countries you could not get enough feminists to make a volleyball team? Could it be because Christianity grants women more freedom and opportunity than they realize?
There are many types of feminists some really do want equality with men. If by that they mean equal pay for equal work, I am all for it. If by that they mean equal access to jobs, promotions and advancement, then I am all for it. If by that they mean the right to choose their own destiny, then I am all for it. To them I have to say that I fully support their drive for equality, for no one should be exploited, prevented from choosing their career or forced to marry or do things against their will.
But if they mean that they want absolute equality with men, then I am really sorry, but I can not support that, for that is simply not possible. It is like comparing apples and oranges. They are different and never will they be equal an apple will never be an orange and an orange will never be an apple.
Then you have the middle of the road feminists who despise men. These do not want equality but actually superiority over men. They want to change the Bible from its male oriented language; they want to reverse the Biblical role and be the man of the house. They want to rule their men and have the men shaking in their boots when the woman gets home.
Then you have the even more extremist feminists. These feminists hate men; they do not want equality or superiority over men, but their destruction. They hate the concept of a male God. They hate the Bible and want its destruction. They talk about the Goddess, and are often into lesbianism. They viciously attack women verbally for being godly women, and submitting to the rule of their husbands.
To them all I can say is that they need to repent of their hatred and accept themselves as women. Their self-hatred will only hurt them. God is a good God and in his infinite wisdom made them females. They may not understand why they were created as women, but God does not make mistakes. They need to accept their roles and submit. There is more freedom being a woman in the Christian world than they realize.
Look at the Bible, in the Bible most prophets were men, but there were women that were prophetesses of God. They were messengers of the word of God. No Muslim woman could ever aspire to be a messenger of God. Woman had rights of inheritance; they had right to private property. They could buy and sell; they could go out by themselves without a male escort.
Woman in the Bible followed Jesus and provided for his ministry. Jesus himself had many encounters with women. Look at the woman in the Bible, and you will not see the oppression that you see in other cultures.
Look at the Old Testament
Sarah Abraham's wife obviously made many of her own decisions.
Rebecca and Rachel obviously had their own mind, read up their stories.
Deborah was a judge of Israel.
Miriam, Hulda, Anna and the daughters of Phillip were prophetess of God
The wise woman in proverbs was obviously a liberated woman.
Look at the many women in the Old Testament and you will see women that had certain rights and privileges that other nations did not grant to women.
Now look at the New Testament and you will see the same thing.
Jesus talked with the Samaritan woman.
Mary Magdalene was a follower of Jesus
Jesus friendship with Martha and Mary the sisters of Lazarus.
Many other women followed Jesus.
The book of acts mentions many other women
Lydia was a merchant
Aquilla and Pricisilia worked as a team
The daughters of Phillip were prophetesses
Tabitha was a Christian disciple and messenger
Christianity has never been a religion that oppresses woman; on the contrary it has liberated woman from oppression. In India, it was Christianity that ended up widow burning, the foot binding of women in China ended by the influence of Christianity. Every Country where Christianity has flourished has liberated woman and granted them privileges and rights not previously held.
And yet Christianity has always maintained a clear distinction between male and female. Because the Bible clearly indicates that man was created first, and that he was granted the supremacy.
But some may argue doesn’t the Bible teach equality of men and woman in Galatians 3:28? Yes it does, but it is an equality of salvation and access to God, not equality of roles or of positions.
When a man becomes a Christian he doesn’t become sexless he still is a man. When a woman becomes a Christian she doesn’t lose her ability to have children. Physically they both retain their sexual attributes. Positionally they are still in the same roles, he still is the head of the household, whether he is a Christian or not.
The equality in Christ does not eliminate the physical, mental and positional differences between man and woman. All it means is that each now must stand before God as an individual.
